UMRAN : Journal of Islamic Studies and Social Humanities

UMRAN : Journal of Islamic Studies and Social Humanities is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by LP2M STAI Al Mannan Kauman Tulungagung. The journal provides an academic forum for publishing original research in Islamic Studies and Social Humanities. Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal. Articles may be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English following the official journal template.

Aims & Scope
The journal publishes original research articles related to Islamic Studies and Social Humanities, including Qur'anic Studies, Hadith Studies, Islamic Education, Islamic Law, Islamic Thought, History of Islamic Civilization, Sociology of Religion, Anthropology, Communication, Culture, Politics, Economics, Philosophy, Gender Studies, and other relevant interdisciplinary studies.

Manuscript Structure
Articles should include: Title, Author(s), Affiliation, Email, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgment (optional), and References.

Manuscript Format
Manuscripts should be prepared using Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx), A4 paper size, 10–20 pages, Times New Roman 12 pt, 1.15 line spacing, and must follow the official journal template.

References
References should be managed using Mendeley, Zotero, or similar reference management software, following the APA Style 7th Edition. Authors are encouraged to cite recent scholarly publications, especially those published within the last five years.

Peer Review Process
Every submission undergoes editorial screening, plagiarism checking, and a Double-Blind Peer Review process conducted by qualified reviewers before publication.

⚠️ Plagiarism Policy

All manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection software (Turnitin or equivalent). The acceptable Similarity Index is 20%, excluding references and properly cited quotations. Manuscripts exceeding this limit will be returned to the author for revision before entering the review process.
